Multiple Regional Workshops on Biological Diversity Laws are being conducted across India under the UNDP- GEF (Global ABS Project) on “Strengthening Human Resources, Legal Frameworks and Institutional Capacities to Implement the Nagoya Protocol”, for which NLSIU is the lead technical agency.

These workshops are being conducted across states ( Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Karnataka etc. ) with the objective of creating awareness and outreach regarding the laws relating to Biological Diversity  and compliance that is required to be followed  by relevant stakeholders
